Quino D is Thriving in the Canadian Music Industry
No doubt Canada is becoming a force to be reckoned with and it’s clear to see as we look closely at its contribution to the music industry within the last decade. Canadian musicians are making a stand with moguls such as Drake, The Weeknd, Tory Lanez, and Nav paving the way for the next generation of artist to be inspired and confident to leap into this thriving industry. Just like Ontario native PartyNextDoor, Quino D felt the vibe in the atmosphere from a young age and ran with it.
In his adolescent years feeding off the energy of music to create a relaxing environment as well as for creative purposes, music was always a dream of his. Quino D slowly found his lane which was freestyles/cyphers and he kept getting better over time. Quino D gives a lot of inspirational credit to his best friend who also shares the same passions as him, he would always push and challenge him. Eventually becoming confident in himself he started creating, recording, and focusing on not only doing it for the love but professionally and working towards releasing his music for the world to hear.
Qunio D has been on the radar for some time now and when he dropped his highly anticipated single “Gin and Juice” it gained a lot of attention followed by “No More” which was later released. He quickly displayed a switch-up in style as he went from an R&B melodic vibe in “Gin and Juice” to “No More” with aggressive lyrics that speak on the solo come-up he has embarked on. When it comes to the type of genre or style of music, he prefers it is not exactly pinpointed as he expressed, he personally loves listening to all different types of music as it just might help in forging a doorway for something that’s never been heard before in the near future.
