Danica Patrick On This Year’s Indy 500, Good Foods, Upcoming Projects, Music, Television & More

As a racecar driver, Danica Patrick broke barriers and set records with her on-track performance. In 2005, Danica stunned the world by leading 19 laps and finishing fourth in her first Indianapolis 500. She became the first woman to lead laps and score a Top 5 finish in the historic race. In 2008, Patrick made history again becoming the first woman to win a major-league open-wheel race in a North American series with her victory in the IndyCar Series Indy Japan 300 race. With her racing-related career behind her — appearances at major events aside — Patrick looks to her next chapter as she focuses on her passions: good food, great wine, fitness and helping others achieve their goals.

Summer 2022 is quickly approaching, and with it we look forward to the Indy 500 and Memorial Day Weekend marking the unofficial start to warmer weather ahead. Summer months are often filled with outdoor activities including beach visits, BBQs, road trips and fireworks, but busy summer schedules mean more pre-activity organization and checklists. On-brand with her goals, Danica Patrick — also an entrepreneur, business owner, author and podcaster — has partnered with the creator of her favorite plant-based dips, Good Foods, to share more about her summer plans and her favorite go-to snacks that fuel her appetite, taste delicious and help her stay on-the-go throughout the season.

On May 25, 2022, I had the pleasure of speaking with Danica Patrick via Zoom, as embedded below. More on Patrick, Good Foods and her various other projects can be found here, here and here.
