Director Alex Lockwood & Dr. Alice Brough On The New Film “The End Of Medicine,” Its Celebrity Producers & More

The End Of Medicine is a feature-length investigative documentary exposing the link between emerging health threats, such as pandemics and antibiotic resistance, and the role of animal exploitation. Told through the lens of industry whistleblowers, government advisors, medical experts, and leading scientists, The End Of Medicine sounds the alarm few have heard.

The film — as directed by BAFTA-winning director Alex Lockwood — includes interviews with some of the world’s leading scientists whose research and testimonies conclude that the public health emergency we are presently facing was inevitable and is far from over. It was co-produced under the banners of acclaimed documentary filmmaker Keegan Kuhn’s First Spark Media (What The Health, Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret) and Alex Lockwood’s Lockwood Film along with Rooney Mara, Joaquin Phoenix, and Jim Greenbaum (Seaspiracy) as executive producers. The End Of Medicine is being exclusively distributed in North America by Gravitas Ventures and is due out on May 10, 2022.
