The credits of singer/songwriter Frawley, a New Jersey native, include John Legend, Hunter Hayes, Dixie D’Amelio, Tate McRae and Icona Pop. Having found success as both a recording artist and a songwriter for other performers, Frawley’s next single will be “If I Don’t Laugh, I’ll Cry.” Due out this week on May 6, 2022, “If I Don’t Laugh, I’ll Cry” was teased via social media a few weeks ago, promptly going viral on TikTok with millions of views and 38,000+ Apple and Spotify pre-saves.
At just 22 years of age, Frawley is arguably helping to define the next wave of Gen-Z pop. A creator of music which blends big pop melodies with thoughtful lyrics, Frawley’s latest single “No One Can Fix Me” has over 20 million streams on on Spotify alone. “Hard Boy” also has over 15 million streams on Spotify, showing that success of Frawley is destined to be long-term, regardless of radio campaigns.
On April 29, 2022, I had the pleasure of speaking with Frawley via Zoom, as embedded below. Beyond “If I Don’t Laugh, I’ll Cry,” we spoke about songwriting, future plans, John Legend and plenty more. Additional information on all things Frawley can be found by clicking here, here, here and here.
