Miya Cech, YaYa Gosselin & May Chan On The Apple TV+ Series “Surfside Girls,” Ali Wong & More

From WGA Award winner and Daytime Emmy Award nominee May Chan (The Astronauts, Voltron: Legendary Defender, Carmen Sandiego), as based on a best-selling graphic novel series by author Kim Dwinell, Surfside Girls is a new series coming to Apple TV+. In short, Surfside Girls is about best friends Sam and Jade as they solve supernatural mysteries in their sleepy California beach town. These best friends must combine their polar-opposite strengths of imagination and logic in order to solve the seemingly supernatural mysteries that hide just beneath the surface of their town.

Surfside Girls stars Miya Cech and YaYa Gosselin with Spencer Hermes-Rebello. Produced by Endeavor Content and IDW Entertainment, and co-developed, written and executive produced by Chan — who also serves as showrunner — Surfside Girls was executive produced by Paul Stupin. Alex Diaz and Julie Sagalowsky Diaz co-developed the series and serve as its writers and executive producers, while America Young directed and executive produced its first two episodes. Lydia Antonini also executive produces, while Paul Davidson and Jeff Brustrom executive produce on behalf of IDW.
