A Look At Incubus’ Summer 2022 Tour With Sublime With Rome & The Aquadolls (With Live Video)

With more than 23 million albums sold, rock superstars Incubus kicked off the group’s 2022 tour earlier this month at West Palm Beach, Florida’s iTHINK Amphitheatre alongside special guests Sublime With Rome and The Aquadolls. The tour, produced by Live Nation, will continue throughout the U.S. before wrapping up in Bend, Oregon at Hayden Homes Amphitheatre on September 3, 2022.

On July 31, 2022, I had the pleasure of catching the Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater stop of Incubus’ Summer 2022 tour in Wantagh, New York. The mostly-full venue, which has a reported capacity of 15,000, played host to a hits-driven evening. Having formed over 30 years ago as high school students in 1991, Incubus has scored over 1 billion streams to date. The quintet’s setlist included all of the hit singles one would expect — including “Drive,” “Pardon Me,” “Stellar” and “Wish You Were Here” — plus a cover of Lenny Kravitz’s “It Ain’t Over Till It’s Over” within its nearly-two-hour-long set. Sublime With Rome kept things short but sweet, playing for less than an hour yet managing to squeeze in all of the key Sublime hits and staples. Simply put, this is one of those must-see outdoor summer tours for anyone who listened to a lot of K-Rock (or KROQ) in the 2000s and 2010s.

Below are videos filmed at the Jones Beach Theater from all 3 performing artists, in addition my Zoom-based late 2021 interview with Incubus frontman Brandon Boyd. More on Incubus and its on-going tour with Sublime With Rome and The Aquadolls can be found online by clicking here, here and here.
