Dutch Artist and Producer Zuhbastian is on the Rise

Zuhbastian is a versatile music producer and artist from the Netherlands. From a young age the Dutchman had an interest in creating and producing music, being fascinated by good layered tunes and the broad variety of styles led him to experiment in many different genres. During this time he would discover a rather obscure genre called: Synthwave. Over the years he would collect individually distinctive tracks and bundle them into a 6-track EP called: Neon Pyramids. The months after, during the Covid-19 lockdowns, the multi-talented artist discovered the ability to create melodies with hip-hop undertones. This passion project was recently released under the name: Genesis. The second EP containing 6 tracks combining classic hip-hop beats and groovy melodies together. Both released EP’s have amassed thousands of streams across various platforms.

Music is more than just music to this artist. He continues on his adventure of exploring countlessgenres from many styles and incorporating them into his music, which has earned him praise from his loyal fans. He believes in the power of dedication and passion. Ultimately, music is the greatest thing ever to him, and he wants his listeners to experience that feeling as well. Everything begins with an emotion or feeling, and Zuhbastian has been translating these emotions and feelings into melodies that can bring out a visual image in the minds of his listeners.

When asked what the biggest challenge was that he had to overcome, He answered with: Trying to learn the art of making music has always been an obsession for me. Filtering through the incredible amount of information, seeking beneficial knowledge to improve my craft, finding the style that suits me best.

Creating melodic tracks without lyrics and combining different sort of instruments together is the category he excels at.
