After turning heads last fall with his LA Leakers freestyle, where he spits bars over Snoop’s “Lay Low” beat, it’s clear that what sets Ray apart from the pack is his slick wordplay and how easy he keeps it honest while annihilating any beat he comes across. Now he’s back with his latest high-octane single of 2022, “Mannequin.”

The new song strengthens from Ray’s energetic flow and charismatic delivery, as he bodies synth-heavy production, taking the time to call out the lames, phonies, and nobodies bogarting his shorties’ attention. In the track’s cinematic video, the Long Beach native and his homies dip out of their warehouse job to discover their entire neighborhood has been overrun by mannequins, sparking a block party.
