What Arron Honzik Had to Overcome to Build the UK’s Flagship Luxury Watch Retailer, Time Trader UK
There are not many stories of success that run parallel to the uplifting rags to riches rise of Arron Honzik.
Arron, the victim of a life changing road traffic accident that hospitalized him for 10 months, is now the 100% shareholder and director the UK’s flagship pre-owned luxury watch retailer Time Trader. Whereas most would have been doomed by this catastrophic event, Arron was able to find in this adversity the beginnings of a great opportunity. Shortly after his accident, Arron learned about the pregnancy of his first child from his partner Chloe, which emboldened his desire to recover and make something of himself, nevertheless.
After having been influenced by a copy of “The Rolex Report” during his recovery, Arron bought a Rolex from a friend while still in the hospital and then flipped it from the ward, demonstrating that there could be some viability in the business model he was just discovering.
Within 2 years of determined effort and rehabilitation, Arron was finally able to walk again, whilst continuing to work on his business model. Arron was able to recognize not only the inherent value in trading watches, but also in their long term appreciation as assets.
He decided that investing into such a business would be a judicious decision and decided that the route to take the business was digitally….and with that came the launch of the Time Trader brand.
Operating under these sound principles, Honzik has scaled Time Trader to over 10 million in revenue over the past 5 years. Better yet, his recovery from paralysis is fully complete. He currently enjoys a mobile and fully dynamic life traveling between London, Monaco, and across Europe scaling the Time Trader empire and building his caché as a real life example of what self-determinism can build us into.
