Jamie Foxx and BSB Boys Contribute to Soundtrack of New Netflix Film, ‘Day Shift’

Jamie Foxx and BSB Boys contribute to the soundtrack of the new Netflix film, “Day Shift” “Day Shift,” a new action-horror-comedy on Netflix is already getting a lot of buzz on its take on classic vampire stories as well as an impressive soundtrack. It was released Aug. 12 and includes a stellar cast, starting with superstar Jamie Foxx as Bud, a pool cleaner in California’s San Fernando Valley who secretly takes own vampires on the side. Though an official secret union exists to regulate this activity, Bud was kicked out years earlier for having a bad attitude. But now the union needs him back – and he needs to make some money fast to pay for his daughter’s tuition. The film also features legendary entertainer Snoop Dogg, portraying a fellow union member, and Dave Franco, playing a union rep who is simply trying to make sure everyone keeps up with Their paperwork.

Along with being a serious contender for a favorite late-summer movie, “Day Shift” also has an enjoyable soundtrack, including new and classic Snoop Dogg hits. One of the new songs created especially for the film was “BUD (Mowing Down Vamps).” The piece was created by Jamie Foxx and the BSB Boys, a group of friends in the Entertainment/music industry who are united by their musical abilities as well as being fans of Brown Sugar Bourbon, a brand of flavored whisky that Jamie Foxx is a part owner of. Another member of the BSBs is J Young MDK, a prominent musician and actor from Atlanta. Jamie Foxx has become a friend and professional mentor for J Young MDK, including producing his first LP. He’s also offered other support over the years as J Young pursued his show-biz and musical dreams. For instance, in 2020, J Young MDK made musical history by releasing two full-length albums in two different genres (R & amp; B) and (Rap) on the same day, A third came a few weeks later.

Earlier this year, he joined with Latto on her 777 Monster Energy Outbreak Tour, which played several sold-out shows around the country. He also received the lead role in “Mixed Girl,” a short film showing how a man learns how to connect to a teen daughter he didn’t know existed. “BUD (Mowing Down Vamps” is the first soundtrack to feature music created by the BSB Boys. The soundtrack for “Day Shift” can be found on most streaming music services. The BSB Boys also received invites to attend the official East Coast and West Coast premieres of “Day Shift.” These gala red-carpet events took place in Los Angeles and Atlanta.
