NASCAR Driver Justin Haley On Celsius Energy, Kaulig Racing, Daytona, Career Goals & More

Kaulig Racing is a multi-car NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) and NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) team, owned by award-winning entrepreneur Matt Kaulig. Established in 2016, Kaulig Racing has made the NXS Playoffs consecutively each season since the playoff system started. The team made multiple starts in the NCS in 2021 and won in its seventh-ever start with AJ Allmendinger’s victory at “The Brickyard” for the Verizon 200 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The young team has acquired two charters for the 2022 NCS season, with Justin Haley competing as its first, full-time driver in the series. Prior to this, Haley won the 2019 Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona in just his third career Cup Series start and in 2020 became the 32nd driver to win a race in all three NASCAR national touring series.

Last year, Kaulig Racing announced that it had teamed up with globally-recognized fitness energy drink Celsius as the team’s official drink in a multi-year agreement. Billed as a “better-for-you alternative” to traditional energy drinks, Celsius is known to provide “essential energy with zero sugar” and is “made with premium ingredients to live fit.” Celsius has been a partner of Kaulig Racing since the team’s inception in 2016. Per John Fieldly, chief executive officer of Celsius Holdings, in a prepared statement: “Celsius was created to help people LIVE FIT, exceed their goals, and elevate their everyday lives. We are excited to further expand our partnership and fuel Kaulig Racing to peak performance.”

On August 26, 2022, I had the pleasure of speaking with Justin Haley about Celsius Energy, its work with Kaulig Racing, future plans and life away from racing. More on Haley — who was in Daytona, Florida at the time of the interview — and Celsius can be found online by clicking here, here and here.
