Ms Cat, Tax Professional, Launches Woke Money Movement for BIPOC Communities

Ms Cat is a tax professional and multi-talented businesswoman who has dedicated her life to financial literacy. She is the owner and founder of the “Woke Money” movement; a movement that was created out of the need to spread economic knowledge to the BIPOC community. Becoming a head figure in the tax world was not easy for Ms Cat. She had to claw her way to the top and because of that, sees the need for education for the masses. Others can take her advice firsthand at the Woke Money Conference in Houston, TX come this April.

Ms Cat spent years watching her clients accumulate funds just to mismanage it after her assistance was done. This frustration made her eager to help those who need more than just a few meetings to get their finances underway. On a personal note, she has also felt the pangs of struggling financially before she knew any better. The tools to success were reachable and she never knew it. Now, working with the BIPOC community, she is determined to make a difference and better every household’s circumstances.

This group resonates with her the most because she has firsthand seen the limited resources the BIPOC community is given to succeed. She sees the unfairness and the clear imbalance that has come from generations of power. By investing in themselves, she feels that Black and Brown individuals can improve their lifestyle long term. She is hoping that during the Woke Money Conference in April, she can create an inclusive space where all young and old can come together to invoke self-improvement.

The conference is set in Houston and struck a chord with Ms Cat as it is currently the 11th worst state in regard to income inequality. This is a reality that Ms Cat is determined to make a thing of the past post mentorship and coaching from her. In the future, she is looking to expand the Woke Money Conference to the city after city in the continental U.S. She is excited to spread her message as far as possible to finally give BIPOC a fighting chance in a capitalist world. The conference is actively welcoming sponsorships from other companies that also believe in economic education.
