Coco Jones Tells The Wayne Ayers Podcast She Wants To Play Princess Tiana

Coco Jones has accomplished what most people would hope to achieve over their lifetime.

She was first noticed at the age of nine after she sang the National Anthem for the St. Louis Rams in front of 42,000 people. From that moment on, having gotten her first taste of the entertainment industry, she was off and running. She began writing and recording in the studio, as well as doing live performances. Jones has starred in ‘Let It Shine’ with Tyler James Williams and now starring as Hilary Banks in Peacocks ‘Bel-Air’ series.

The ‘Bel-Air’ star recently graced the Wayne Ayers podcast. The 25-year-old singer and actress talked about portraying Hilary Banks on the dramatic reimagined show. She spoke on meeting Karyn Parsons, who portrayed Hilary Banks in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

While on The Wayne Ayers Podcast, Coco Jones reveals who’s her favorite character from ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’ and speaks on meeting Will Smith for the very first time.

Jones spoke about signing to Def-Jam and her new music. She also spoke about fans wanting her to portray Princess Tiana if Disney ever decides to move forward with a live-action version of The Princess and the Frog.

Jones is down‐to‐earth, sensible, and very comical. She strives to be a light for her generation, and an advocate for all girls of color that she can reach. She aspires to use her platform for the benefit of the girls who look like her and understand her struggle. Coco is hard-working and consistent. She always has a lasting effect on those she encounters.
