Grammy Award Winner Brennen Announces Season 2 of “Brennen’s Room Show”

For two-time GRAMMY Award-winning singer-songwriter Brennen, using his platforms as both an entertainer and a talk show host to inspire the uninspired has been at the forefront of his career. Dubbed “The Male Oprah Winfrey” by his social media followers, thousands have tune-in from all over the globe for his deep, intimate conversations with celebrities and everyday people who face issues with life, relationships, and navigating through their journeys.

According to statistical data from Mental Health America, 13.4 percent of the US population identifies as Black or African American and of that 13.4 percent over 16 percent, roughly 17 million Blacks, reported having a mental illness. In 2020, suicide was the leading cause of death for Blacks between the ages of 15-24.

With these alarming statistics and data, Brennen knew that it was time to help people get to the best version of themselves. As a recording artist, Brennen captivated R&B music lovers with his inspirational hit single Don’t Go Alone which resonated with so many people that it charted on Apple Music.

The song addresses mental health and gives a clear and concise voice to how so many people feel about life and love. “Life can be hard/ You can’t figure out why/ You tried all you could/ but nothing works out quite right/ but you can lean on my shoulder and I’ll help you stand/ Cause I’m someone who’s closer than your best friend,” he sings in his popular hit.

He would later answer the call to serve musically in Kanye West’s Sunday Service Choir and tour internationally – together they led the nations in worship with songs featured on Jesus Is King. Time and chance had it that he would lend his vocals in Beyonce’s project Black Is King for Disney, both projects earned him two GRAMMY Awards

But music was just the beginning as he expanded his inspirational platform to include his heartfelt YouTube Series Brennen’s Room Show. With notable guests like Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’s Cierra Glamshop and Tammy Price, also known as Tammy with the Tea.

Brennen proved he could lead deep, intimate conversations and give the unheard a voice as they journey together, on his couch, through life, love, careers, and everything in between. During his most watched interview with Tammy Price, the two navigated through her rags-to-riches story as they peeled back the layers and discussed growth, transformation, friendships, and identity.

Fans took to YouTube to express their sentiments about the show. One fan wrote, “The energy from this interview was so enlightening. The set up is so amazing, the questions and how the dialogue went on makes me want more episodes…”. Another fan wrote, “Brennen your podcast is AMAZING! I’m looking forward to seeing you soar!”

What I want people to know about mental health is that it is real and you can get help. I want people not to take it for granted and start naming the voices in their head. A lot of times the people start hearing the voice of what other people have called them so I always tell them to start naming that other voice something so it can be put in its place – identify the two, isolate the two,” he tells The Hype Magazine.

With Season 2 approaching, Brennen promises more deep, intimate conversations to help people get to the best version of themselves. This season, Brennen goes into the prison system to confront the man who murdered his beloved relative. Stay tuned to find out if he was able to live up to the show’s core values of love, healing, and freedom when he came face-to-face with the killer.
