Exclusive Live Session with Carlos Neal Founder of FreakNik®
This Live Session features Carlos Neal, the revolutionary founder of FreakNik® regarding the live taping event on May 7th at BonFire ATL for the upcoming documentary “FreakNik: The Wildest Party Never Told” documentary which will air on Hulu. FreakNik® partnered with MusicFX which meshes perfectly with the positive works of FreakNik® and its fans.
I know you’ve heard and read about it on social media…it’s bringing some discomfort in some circles and THAT caught the attention of news networks:
Regardless if you lived in the South, attended an HBCU, or know someone who did in the 90s, chances are you have heard of Atlanta’s legendary, albeit at times notorious, FreakNik Festival. Originally a modest spring break picnic organized in the 80s by and for students from local Historically Black Colleges and Universities, FreakNik went through many incarnations showcasing Atlanta’s role as an epicenter for Black culture.
Carlos weighs in on the defining moment that let him know FreakNik® expansion was needed, push back on on the growth of the festival and the impact of this particular festival on a global spring break industry, and a whole lot more…Tune In!!!
