GRAMMY® Award-nominated multiplatinum R&B singer, songwriter, actor, entrepreneur, and icon Mario returns with a sizzling summer-ready new single entitled “Main One” [feat. Tyga Lil Wayne]. Mario also just broke the news of his new deal with Epic Records in conjunction with his own New Citizen labelThis stands out as the first official release under the newly minted partnership.

The track pops off as a blockbuster anthem, uniting three of the culture’s most enduring voices. Mario lays down confident verses before he urges “Girl you can be honest with me, you ain’t gotta be toxic with me, you don’t need no other options but me. Mario commented I think one of the most powerful things a man can do is give a woman the option to choose. It’s basically telling a girl, ‘I got options, and I’m sure you do too, but I’d rather you be the main one.Meanwhile, Tyga and Lil Wayne trade knockout bars, adding multiple dimensions to the track. The upcoming accompanying visual will bring this vibe to life on screen, illustrating the power of this club-ready R&B hip-hop banger and highlighting Mario’s style and spirit.

Mario adds“A night out in Cali turned into a studio session with Tyga. We went back and forth wiring the verses and hook, and I knew Wayne would be the perfect addition. I worked with Wayne on the ‘Crying Out for Me’ remix so it’s legendary to have three vets on this record!”

Regarding his partnership with Epic, he went on, “Right now, Epic comprises some of the greats in the music game like Sylvia Rhone and Ezekiel Lewis. I’ve been independent for eight years, so this is definitely a new chapter for me and New Citizen. We’re going to be one of the chariots for R&B, and we’re bringing it back.”

Stay tuned for a whole lot more from Mario soon!
