Egypt is ‘Riding thru ya city’ with Her New Project

I was doing my morning stroll through IG looking for a new artist to post for today, and Egypt, from one of the networking groups I check out, caught my attention with this declarative joint Riding thru ya city, which hit DSPs on October 23. It’s a cool introduction to a new voice signature, and the storytelling is dope. I dig the way she laid out how her family supports her and what’s driving her as an artist.

Egypt brings some interesting nuances in timbre and intonation, which held me, and the music bed for “Riding thru ya city” adds to the picture…I caught a visual of the convo with her parents…well done!
