0Hakeem Olajuwon “Dream Shake” Was Unguardable
Hakeem ” The Dream” Olajuwon, was a problem during his time in NBA, and his consistency landed him in the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.
In the mid-90s, Olajuwon led his Houston Rockets team to back to back championship in 1994 and 1995. He was also named one of the 50 greatest NBA players and won a gold medal with Team USA in the 1996 Olympics.
During his nearly 20 years in the National Basketball Association, Olajuwon averaged 21 points and 11 rebounds per game.
Also, throughout his career, he made his patent “The Dream Shake” one of the league’s unguardable moves.
Olajuwon and his Rocket Teammates were able to win their championships in between two Chicago Bulls three-peats led by Michael Jordan. Jordan decided to pursue a career in baseball after the 1993 season. Many people tend to forget about the two championships the Rockets won in the two seasons that Jordan was concentrating on baseball.
One person who hasn’t forgotten is NBA insider Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson. Robinson was a recent guest on the Real Fan Talk show.

Many will argue that the Bulls would have won eight straight championships if Jordan did not retire. One of the people being his former teammate Scottie Pippen.
Kenny ‘The Jet” Smith was a guest on the Scoop B Radio Overtime and Smith stated that they would beat the Bulls.
“Oh we would’ve beat them,” former Houston Rocket and TNT analyst, Kenny ‘The Jet’ Smith said
Another player who was on that same Rockets team was Robert Horry and he weighed in on the Bulls vs Rockets debut.
“I truly believe the way that we were playing and that big dominant force, Hakeem Olajuwon; that we had down there was too much,” former Houston Rocket Horry said on Scoop B Radio.
Olajuwon footwork and his patent Dream Shake is something that every player should try to implement in their game.
