EONS – LEVITATE

EONS is back with their latest single LEVITATE, a dreamy soundscape of ambient beats and soaring vocals. The solo project of Miami based Jonny Sindoni (a.k.a. Johnny Deezal), the track deviates slightly from the ’80s influenced new-wave vibe the artist and producer has previously focussed on, instead of taking an equally dynamic synth-pop direction. Moving towards lounge vibes and atmospherics effects, the shift pays off, making the song the perfect match for a poolside unwinding (or at least imagining you were).

“Watch me as I levitate”, Eons sings, lifting the track to an emotive crescendo as the synth lines break like waves over the listener. The soothing melody is triumphant over life’s everyday stressors. Inspired by Science-Fiction movies from a young age, EONS has been crafting otherworldy dance floor tracks since 2012. Known for high energy live shows, the act has landed opening slots for national acts such as Capital Cities, Holy Ghost, Cut Copy, Brazilian Girls, among others. Having released several singles and 2015’s EP Serene Machine, EONS is currently hard at work in the studio, with the standalone single LEVITATE expected to be joined by an upcoming full length to be released later in the year.
