Saturday, March 7th-For over 30 years, the robust and invigorating voice of Celine Dion has captured a multitude of hearts nationwide. Since her humble beginnings as a young girl from Quebec, Celine was given a vocal gift of uniqueness that would forever be embedded in tonality. She possesses a sound so exquisite yet captivating to encounter a voice with such efficaciousness is what solidifies the connection to fans across the globe.
The crowd in Newark’s renowned Prudential Center went from pure euphoria to all-out excitement as the eclipse of her silhouette appeared on stage. Celine donned in a chic alluring red dress looking as vigorous as ever performed her timeless string of multi-platinum hits “Beauty and The Beast”, “That’s the Way It Is”, “The Power of Love” and eminent love anthem “My Heart Will Go On” belting out those impeccable ranges with such passion that caress your soul while her tender rendition of “Courage”, the title track to her newly released album moved the audience with heartfelt lyrics paying homage to her beloved late husband. Her phenomenal showcase ended with Celine humbling acknowledging her band of musicians and artists thanking them for bringing out the best in her performance stating she couldn’t do it without them.
Celine’s triumphant journey as a rising star transformed into a monumental legacy of eloquence, beatitude, and adversity. Her evolution as a musical icon, devoted wife and mother endured life’s challenges with the untimely passing of her mentor and soulmate Rene’ and brother Daniel but nevertheless she continues illuminating her admirers on her destined courageous path as a musical legend. This evening’s event was by far a spectacular kickoff to the “Courage Tour” and a definite must-see!
