New Music: Kojo Stone

Multi talented by design, Kojo Stone is a soul singing songwriter who is actively aspiring to emerge as a leader in the resurgence of the essence of the R&B genre. A refreshing hybrid of Hip Hop, Jazz, and soul he is often times categorized under the neo-soul umbrella which has birth the likes of Maxwell, D’Angelo, and Anthony Hamilton.

Living in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn, Kojo has utilized the inspiration of his hometown, the bright lights and reputation for success in music that the Big Apple has become known for. A poet as well, his natural transition to a song writer sparked a greater interest in becoming a vocalist. After hearing 5 Steps by Dru Hill, Kojo Stone knew that the stage was where his heart is.

His pursuit of a career has supported in recent times by his allegiance with I.T.I.S Entertainment as the two entities have worked together to solidify his place as one of the most talented and entertaining acts on the market. His stellar showings at Santos Party House, Shrine World Music Venue, and Fat Baby has done wonders for his growing fan base which supported his One Day Tour initiative Summer of 2015 where he delivered an impressive 7 performances throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan.

Working tirelessly on his self-titled debut, Kojo Stone looks to 2016 as a pivotal time for his leap to house-hold name status, beginning with his new release Prove That. Listen Below:
