DJ/PRODUCER CHANTEL JEFFRIES DROPS NEW SINGLE “BETTER” FT. BLOCBOY JB & VORY
DJ, producer, songwriter and global superstar Chantel Jeffries drops new track, “Better” ft. BlocBoy and Vory via VIRGIN EMI.
The catchy track is the third track to be released off her upcoming album, Calculated Luck, after massive debut Wait” ft. Offset & Vory and “Both Sides” ft Vory have garnered nearly 35 million streams.
“Better” features a blend of Hip-Hop and European House, solidifying Jeffries unique sound.
Along with creating Calculated Luck, Jeffries has spent much of the past year DJ-ing major events like the Vanity Fair Oscar party and the Apple Music x Beats 1 party at Coachella. “The live set is a full experience, with a lot of visual stimulation in the lights and video elements,” says Jeffries, who’s now performing a series of summer DJ sets at legendary Las Vegas venues Wet Republic and OMNIA.
Having established herself in both music and fashion arenas – as model and brand ambassador for the likes of L’Oreal, Chantel is currently developing her own line of merchandise, to be released simultaneously with Calculated Luck later this year.
Jeffries has also announced her collaboration with Quay Australia – Melbourne-based leading fashion eyewear company – as the face of their new blue light blocking clear lens glasses campaign. The campaign was shot in the music studio where she recorded “Better.” The new single art features Chantel wearing her signature Quay Australia blue light frame, HINDSIGHT. The lenses feature technology to assist with blocking potentially harmful (blue) HEV light from digital screens. The blue light glasses collection—comprised of 7 styles—will be available August 8th online at ww.QuayAustralia.com and retailers worldwide.
