The 19th Annual American Black Film Festival celebrated their closing film, with the star studded film, Supermodel. The Datari Turner Production, stars Tyson Beckford, Angela Simmons, Datari Turner, Marc John Jefferies, Fat Joe, Sessliee Lopez, Melissa De Sosa, Jennifer Williams, Toccara, and many more. Many of the films stars were in attendance of the screening and received lots of praise from film critics about the deeper message of Supermodel. Supermodel, which is centered around Sessilee’s character, is meant to showcase the dark side of the fashion industry and the issues models of color face when they are building their career.
