Businessman, Dion Shealey Bounces Into Hip Hop Supporting School Arts

Businessman, Dion Shealey, introduces his Hip Hop alter ego, Verse to the world November 24 with his debut single, “Bounce and Shake”. The song features Extream Bling of Boss Squad Ent who has hits with Gucci Mane and Young Thug. The track, which has a global appeal, is produced by Phil “BangOut” Pitts who is known for producing hits like 50 Cent’s “Disco Inferno” and Christina Aguilera’s “Car Wash” featuring Missy Elliot. Marquetta Dupree, known for leading the Annual Atlanta Hawks Zumba Performance with Janet Ackerman and Kareen Martinez, choreographed the dance that accompanies the song.

To promote the single, The Committee Entertainment Group is hosting two viral video contests. The first celebrates active fathers and runs from November 24 through December 22. The father and child(ren) video that receives the most fan votes wins $2,500 delivered Christmas Eve, 2015. The second contest runs December 24 through February 1, 2016 and encourages students to create videos performing the Bounce and Shake. The video with the most votes will win a $5,000 donation to their high school Arts program and a prom performance by Verse and Extream Bling.

Verse, the introductory artist of The Committee Entertainment Group, is not new to the music industry. He started his career 10 years ago and has shared the stage with Hip Hop icons including Mystikal, Kat Williams and D12. He has also recorded songs with CBone of Purple Ribbon AllStars, T.R.E., and MUGSY Dollars. Over the past decade, his music has grown and he has developed into a mainstream artist. When asked what can we expect in the future from Verse, he said “Real music that real people can relate to.”
