Part guerrilla journalism, part crowd-sourced music contest, Take Back the Mic Season 1 was shot in DURING AN 8 WEEK HIP HOP JOURNEY THROUGH Jamaica, Colombia and Brazil. fans of the emerging artists featured in the competition earned points by “greenlighting” which artists got their own Artist Profiles filmed, showing their communities from an artist’s-eye view.
