Five Questions with Doxamillion
Doxamillion (@DOXAMILLION) is an artist and producer born in Cali, Colombia and was raised mostly in south Florida. His music is a blend of Positive Hip-Hop, Latin,EDM, and Pop. Doxamillion’s unique style has led him to work with artist like Pitbul, Flo Rida, Cool and Dre, Dipset, Grindmode and many more.
Tell us about your current project and or single!
I’m currently working on the third and final part of the LIVXN trilogy album. LIVXN (pt. I) has 7 fun summer singles with EDM, reggae, and hip hop beats. LIVXN (pt. II) is a darker more melodic album for the Fall and Winter and features South Florida artist such as Reconcile, KYNG, Victor Cornelius, Nak Daniels, and Threat. LIVXN (pt. 3) is set to release January 7th, 2017 and includes singles like “Ora Por Mi”, Breaking Night”, and “Talk to God Ft. Chris Batson”.
Do you feel your current project is the best introduction to you as an artist?
I feel my latest projects are a great introduction to me as an artist and producer that showcases my broad range of styles.
What is the music landscape in your neck of the woods?
Musical landscape…Urban and Latino.
What’s on your horizon for 2017?
I’m very excited about 2017. I’ll be releasing the finale to the LIVXN trilogy album January 7th as well as a “Spanglish” EP sometime in the Spring .
The Hype Magazine wants to know: What’s been your CRAZIEST “Where they do that at?! Or “WTF?!” moment thus far in your career?
One of the craziest moments was back in 2010 in California when I had the privilege of recording a remix to “Ball of Confusion” with the legendary Richard Street, formally of the Temptations. We are currently discussing a release date for “Ball of Confusion” with Motown Records.
