Uppermost Releases “Perseverance”

French artist Uppermost, born Behdad Nejatbakhshe, has released single “Perseverance” ahead of the release of his eighth studio album of the same name. The upbeat dance track features vocals by Harry Pane, and is guided by a pulsing electronic beat. The song begins with a slow, quiet buildup, with Pane’s voice coming in with a frantic melody. Reverbing synths and organs glide along rhythmic kicks as the beat builds, evoking a sense of tension. Finally, a psychedelic sweep takes over and the beat drops, Pane’s vocals reflecting the beats’ flux.

The new single is released on the heels of Uppermost’s previous singles, “Atoms,” “Slide,” and “Step by Step,” all available on the forthcoming 14-track effort, Perseverance, to drop March 23.
