ICARUS Unleash New EP: This Must Be The Place

UK brother-duo ICARUS have today released a new EP: This Must Be The Place, out today on FFRR. Prefaced by singles Echoes and Man Of The Land feat. Real Lies, the 4-track EP is available in full today across all platforms.

2018 was a momentous year for UK brother-duo ICARUS. They started off the year with a bang dropping their In The Dark EP, which caught the attention from juggernaut act RÜFÜS DU SOL. ICARUS were invited to open for RÜFÜS DU SOL on their North America & UK tour throughout the fall, which saw ICARUS play their first ever live sets. They also recorded their debut BBC Essential Mix and were showered with support from top BBC Radio DJs like Pete Tong, Annie Mac and Danny Howard.

ICARUS shared some words about the sentiments behind the EP: “We’ve got the clearest vision that we’ve ever had of the core ICARUS sound, but those tracks show that we’ll always experiment with how far we’ll push it. It took going away on tour and having those experiences and then coming back to our comfort zone to make it work. But now it really matches up with what we both felt was right for it.”
