6 Summer Cocktail Recipes You May Be Able To Make At Home

During the weekend of July 4th, tens of — perhaps even hundreds of — millions of people will be celebrating the birth of the United States Of America. In the spirit of this joyful, celebratory and gathering-friendly holiday, I compiled 6 summer-friendly recipes from 3 top spirit brands (those brands being Disaronno, Empress 1908 Gin and Ravo Vodka) on behalf of The Hype Magazine.

#1: Disaronno Godfather:

Ingredients:
– 1 Part Disaronno
– 1 Part Your Favorite Whisky

Method:
– Pour over large ice
– Garnish with orange twist

#2: Disaronno Sparkling:

Ingredients:
– 2 Parts Disaronno
– 4 Parts Favorite Prosecco
– 1 Part Lemon juice

Method:
– Pour ingredients in champagne flute
– Stir gently

#3: Empress Negroni:

Ingredients:
– 1 1/2 Oz. Empress 1908 Gin
– 3/4 Oz. Luxardo Bitter Bianco
– 3/4 Oz. dry vermouth

Method:
– Stir on ice
– Strain into a glass with a large ice cube/sphere
– Garnish with a wide grapefruit twist

#4: Cucumber Blue:

Ingredients:
– 2 Oz. Empress 1908 Gin
– Soda water
– Cucumber
– Mint
– Basil

Method:
– Muddle cucumber, basil, and mint
– Add ice and Empress 1908 Gin
– Shake, single strain into a glass with fresh ice
– Top with soda water
– Garnish with cucumber ribbon and basil

#5: Ravo Vodka Bloody Mary:

Ingredients:
– 1.75 Oz. Ravo Vodka
– 1 Oz. Beet Juice
– 0.5 Oz. lemon juice
– 0.5 Oz. agave
– 0.5 Oz. kale juice
– 1 round jalapeno (remove seeds)
– 3 slices fresh ginger
– 1 Tsp. black pepper
– 2 turns pink Himalayan Sea Salt

Method:
– Combine ginger, agave, lemon, and jalepeno and muddle
– Add juices and Ravo Vodka
– Add ice and roll to combine
– Rim pint glass with smoked paprika and Himalayan sea salt
– Optional: Leave muddled ingredients or double strain to new ice

#6: Disaronno Summer Treat:

Ingredients:
– 1 Oz. Disaronno (or as much as your heart desires)
– 2 Scoops caramel-swirl ice cream (or whatever flavor you’re craving that day)

Method:
– Scoop ice cream into a chilled dessert bowl
– Pour Disaronno over ice cream
– Sit back, relax and enjoy your boozy treat in the sun!
