9 Cocktail Recipes For An Optimal 4th Of July Celebration In 2019

During the weekend of July 4th, tens of — perhaps even hundreds of — millions of people will be celebrating the birth of the United States. In the spirit of this joyful holiday, I gathered recipes from 8 fun summer-themed recipes from some top brands (e.g. Daily Harvest, Zaya, Slow & Low, Seagram’s, Templeton Rye, Woodford Reserve, Stella Rosa, Seagram’s) on behalf of The Hype Magazine.

Strawberry Mint Julep

Ingredients:
– 1.5 ounces of Slow & Low 84 Proof
– 3/4 ounces of St. Germain
– 1/2 lemon
– 3/4 ounces of strawberry puree
– 1/2 ounces of mint simple syrup

Method:
– Stir together and top with soda
– Garnish with mint

Strawberry + Peach Frozé

Ingredients:
– 1 Daily Harvest Strawberry + Peach smoothie
– 7 oz. rosé wine

Method:
– Add rosé wine to Daily Harvest’s Strawberry + Peach smoothie and blend

Summer Berry Lemonade

Ingredients:
– 2 ounces of Zaya Rum
– 1 ounce of lemon juice
– 1 ounce of strawberry simple syrup
– Lemon soda

Method:
– Add all ingredients into shaker
– Shake then strain over fresh ice
– Top with lemon soda
– Garnish and enjoy

Rosemary Old Fashioned

Ingredients:
– 2 ounces of Templeton Rye 6 Year
– 1 teaspoon of rosemary simple syrup
– 3 dashes of aromatic bitters

Method:
– Add all ingredients into a mixing glass
– Stir then strain over fresh ice into a low-ball glass
– Garnish and enjoy

Woodford Reserve Eclipse

Ingredients:
– 1 ½ ounces of Woodford Reserve Distiller’s Select Bourbon
– ½ ounce of Chambord
– 1 ounce of cranberry juice
– 1 ounce of raspberry juice
– 1/4 lime
– 2-3 drops of Sorghum

Method:
– Combine bourbon, Chambord, cranberry Juice, raspberry juice, lime Juice and sorghum in a shaker shell with ice
– Shake vigorously, then strain into an iced glass
– Top with a dash of club soda and garnish with a speared black raspberry and lime twist

Star Spangled Stella Rosa

Ingredients:
Stella Rosa Moscato D’Asti
– 2 ounces of lemon juice
– 1 ounce of blueberry vodka
– 1 ounce of Sprite
– Strawberries
– Blueberries
– Pineapple

Method:
– Add fruit to a pitcher then add Stella Rosa Moscato D’Asti and remaining liquids
– Mix and serve over ice.

Cape Cod Spritz

Ingredients:
– 2 ounces of Seagram’s American Label
– 2 ounces of cranberry juice
– Soda water

Method:
– Fill wine glass with ice
– Add Seagram’s American Label and cranberry juice
– Stir then top with soda water

Strawberry Mint Pink Lemonade Punch

Ingredients:
– ½ bottle of Seagram’s Extra Smooth
– ¼ cup of mint syrup
– 2 cups of pink lemonade
– ½ cup of soda water
– ½ cup of chopped strawberries
– Garnish with lemon slices and springs of mint

Method:
– Add all ingredients to a pitcher over ice
– Stir then garnish with lemon slices and mint sprigs

New York Summer Sour

Ingredients:
– 1 ¾ ounce of Templeton Rye
– ¾ ounces of simple syrup
– 1 ounce of lemon juice
– ½ ounces of egg white
– ¾ ounces of dry red wine (Shinn Merlot)
– Garnish: cherry and orange flag
– 1 ¼-inch Kold-draft cubes

Method:
– Dry shake
– Shake and strain into rocks glass with Kold-draft cubes
