10 Cocktails To Help You Feel Great For The 2019 Holiday Season

The 2019 Holiday Season is now well underway. In turn, plenty of celebrating ought to be happening between now and New Year’s Day, over the next 3-4 weeks. In turn, if you will be hosting sometime soon, it never hurts to have some cocktail recipes at your immediate disposal.

Below are 10 spirit-based recipes that you ought to be able to make within the comfort of your home.

#1: The Celestial Collins

Ingredients:
– 2 oz. Highland Park Magnus or 12 Year Old
– 6 mint leaves muddled
– 0.75 oz. simple syrup
– 1 oz. lemon juice

Method:
– Build in a Collins glass over ice.
– Top with soda.
– Garnish with mint sprig and lemon wheel and enjoy.

#2: Smoky Bloody Mary

Ingredients:
– 2 oz. Highland Park Magnus, 12 or Valknut
– 5 (46 oz.) cans tomato juice (Sacramento or similar)
– .5 (5.5 oz.) can tomato paste
– 2 cups fresh lemon juice
– 2 cups fresh grated horseradish
– 1.5 tbsp. wasabi powder
– 1/4 cup sriracha
– 1/4 cup fresh ground black peppercorn
– 1/4 cup worchestershire sauce
– 1/8 cup salt
– 1/8 cup celery salt
– 1/8 cup tabasco sauce
– 1/8 cup pickle brine
– 1/8 cup soy sauce

Method:
– Pulse batch with blender for 2-3 minutes.
– Refrigerate for 24 hours.
– Stir before pouring.
– Served with 2 oz Highland Park Magnus, 12 or Valknut over ice.
– Garnish with celery stalk, lemon, olive garnish and a pinch of smoked salt.

#3: Soleo Highball

Ingredients:
– 2 oz. The Glenrothes 10 or 12-Year-Old
– ½ oz. Lemon Juice
– ½ oz. Simple Sugar Syrup

Method:
– Top with soda water
– Garnish with a mint or lemon wedge

#4: Golden Dram

Ingredients:
– 1 oz. The Glenrothes 12-Year-Old
– 1 sugar cube soaked in bitters
– Prosecco

Method:
– In a champagne flute, soak sugar cube with 3 dashes of bitters.
– Add The Glenrothes 12YO.
– Top with prosecco

#5: Korbel Brandy Gingersnap

Ingredients:
– 1 part Eggnog
– 4 parts Korbel California Brandy
– ½ part Ginger Liqueur
– Cinnamon Stick or Ground Cinnamon

Method:
– Combine eggnog and Korbel California Brandy in a chilled cocktail glass.
– Garnish with cinnamon (optional).

#6: Korbel Holiday Punch

Ingredients:
– 8 oz. Chambord Liqueur
– 8 oz. Cranberry Juice
– 2 chilled bottles Korbel Brut
– Cranberries

Method:
– Pour ingredients into a large punch bowl or pitcher and stir.
– Top with raspberries or cranberries.

#7: Cranberry Cinnamon Margarita

Ingredients:
– 1 1/2 parts Avión Silver
– 1/2 part Cranberry Juice
– 1/2 part Lime Juice
– 1/4 part Cinnamon Syrup
– 3-4 dashes Angostura Bitters

Method:
– Glass: Coupe/Martini
– Build in tin. Shake. Strain
– Garnish: Goldspray, orange twist

#8: Ginger Spiced Old Fashioned

Ingredients:
– 2 parts Avión Anejo/Reposado
– 5 parts Ginger Syrup
– 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
– 1 dash Orange bitters

Method:
– Glass: Old Fashioned
– Stir ingredients over a large rock.
– Garnish: Lemon and orange twist

#9: Your Love Is King

Ingredients:
– 1.5 oz. Destillaré Café
– .75 oz. Copper & Kings American Apple Brandy
– .75 oz. Faretti Biscotti Liqueur
– .75 oz. cold brew concentrate
– .25 oz. maple syrup
– Pinch of sea salt

Method:
– Shake all ingredients in a shaker tin and fine strain into a chilled Nick & Nora glass.
– Garnish with 3 coffee beans and freshly grated cinnamon.

#10: Butchertown Nogg

Ingredients:
– 7.5 oz. vanilla bean-infused Butchertown Craft Brandy
– 3.75 oz. heavy cream
– 3.75 oz. cinnamon syrup (or to taste)
– 5 egg yolks
– Nutmeg & cinnamon dust for garnish

Method:
– Add all ingredients to a blender and mix to combine.
– Can be served with or without ice.
