Roberta Flack YouTube Event to Benefit Feed The Children – May 16th

Musical legend Roberta Flack, in partnership with Rhino Records, will be airing a special live YouTube event on Saturday, May 16th, which will benefit the non-profit Feed the Children. The event will be hosted by Santita Jackson, who previously toured with Mrs.Flack . The compilation will include Mrs. Flack’s music, vintage footage throughout the years, and will also tie in photos and videos from Feed the Children, a cause very close to Mrs. Flack’s heart. The event will stream on Rhino Records Youtube Channel.
The 83-year-old Grammy award winner, who is best known for her hits “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face” and “Killing Me Softly with His Song”, along with numerous duets with Donny Hathaway, is releasing a three-part box set to include: S1- 50th anniversary of First Take, S2- New Music, and S3- remastered hits. She felt passionate about including a charity to partner with alongside this release. During the live stream, links will be available to purchase Roberta’s special box set, and to donate to Feed the Children.
