Violinist Violeta Vicci Launches Livestream Reimagined

Prolific violinist Violeta Vicci’s has launched a series of truly unique live streams across Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. Every Sunday Violeta will broadcast from a different outdoor location, intended to immerse the listener in an audiovisual experience and bring them closer to her inspiration when writing the music.

Violeta will be performing tracks from her album Autovia, consisting of instrumental and vocal layered loops blended with electronic samples, all triggered live to create a studio quality produced sound.

Violeta is a violinist, composer and vocalist of spanish/swiss descent who is fluent in seven languages. She first picked up a violin at the age of four and has since graced many major international venues. Her debut album Autovia was produced by legendary musician and producer Martin Glover, also known as Youth (Killing Joke, The Verve, Paul McCartney)

Her work draws from a range of influences, namely, classical music, driving the hauntingly beautiful strings, which soar through each track. This unique sound consists of ethereal and brooding soundscapes and is also heavily influenced by ambient and electronic music.

Violeta’s collaborations include a stunning roster of talent, such as Thom Yorke of Radiohead on his solo project Anima, indie darlings Elbow, ambient royalty Jonsi of Sigur Rós and ‘Africa’s premier diva’ Angelique Kidjo.

She has performed at the BBC proms and has previously featured on BBC Radio 3 and BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour as well as Jools Holland, Graham Norton and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Next Reimagined Live Stream:
