Cinzia & The Eclipse Unveil “Runaway” Visuals

Cinzia & The Eclipse wrote “Runaway to put the feeling of having to constantly explain yourself to rest – to feel free doing and being who you want to be. This song is about making your own decisions and following your own path, no matter how wild, impulsive, or insane it may seem.  It’s taken from Cinzia & The Eclipse‘s upcoming album, Little Italy, which will be released on October 23rd.

The line, your white lies never hurt anyone, well I’ve never held a loaded gun until now, came to Cinzia after a crazy amount of writing opportunities came her way, yet she felt she was being pigeon holed into the idea that she is only capable of writing sad love songs.

It was a little discouraging to be labelled when Cinzia had so much more to say. “Runaway is about making one’s own choices in life and rejecting the status quo.

The song’s video follows a bold woman who’s made a couple of mistakes but doesn’t let them define her. She’s impulsive, yet knows how to stay true to her path.

Lucas Liberatore produced “Runaway,” which was one of the quickest songs the pair have put together thus far. Cinzia came in with the first verse and an idea to have the chorus be almost an anthem. Lucas has known her for years, so he picked up on the vibe straight away and came in with the melody that’s now the “Runaway” line. This is a chorus to sing with a crowd!

As you listen to “Runaway,” I want you to feel empowered. Stop questioning yourself and take on the world head on. This song was written to help rid you of your insecurities and live the life you want to lead without fear of judgement.
