New Artist, Xay Oblivion Releases Single “Chances”

The struggle to find a niche in today’s society is one that I have realized is very prominent. It is rare to find someone, who is of a younger generation, whom is adamant about pursuing something specific; someone who takes a plunge to pursue their passion. Xay Oblivion, a new artist, is one of those people. At the age of sixteen, he has introduced himself to the world as a talented artist who has no plans of slowing down any time soon.
Growing up in Fort Green Projects located in Brooklyn, New York, Xay is no stranger to a lifestyle which can lead to constant struggle and adversity. However, being surrounded by musically inclined family members has helped mold him into a young individual with goals, good judgment, and a bright future in the entertainment industry.
Just a few days ago, Xay released his first single, “Chances”, with the music video already reaching over forty-three thousand views. The music video is the perfect visual for the song, portraying his interest in a girl whom he is trying to pursue as a love interest. While persuading her to take a chance with him, he sings:
“Tell your ex that you going with the next. I’mma be the best and I put that on a set. G5 jet, take flight, no stress. When it come to flexin tell her say less. Cut the last girl off cause she did me real dirty.”
With catchy lyrics and a chorus, it is no surprise that this single is soaring to high heights. With an upbeat tempo, this love song is not the typical mellow and air grabbing type of track. It will have the listener moving to the beat while relating to the lyrics.
