Jordin Sparks On Her New EP “Sounds Like Me,” Kalahari Resorts, Future Plans & More

2020 has forced all of us to redefine “normal.” Being mindful of health concerns and necessary safety precautions, we, as a nation have still found ways to be productive and still give our kids an education. But how exactly do you keep up the spirits of people of all ages and interests?

Well, in the case of award-winning singer and actress Jordin Sparks — a mom to a 2 1/2 year old boy — she is always looking for a place to take the family for a change of scenery and to burn off some energy while having a blast. And on November 12, 2020, Sparks spoke to me via Zoom — as embedded below — from Kalahari Resorts’ new Round Rock, Texas water park, which is reportedly America’s largest indoor waterpark resort. Beyond talking about Kalahari, Sparks and I discussed her new Sounds Like Me EP, future plans, family life, and more; also embedded below is my 2019 interview with Sparks, in which we also talked Kalahari and then-future (pre-COVID-19) career plans.

More on Jordin Sparks can be found by following her on Twitter and Instagram via @JordinSparks, while Kalahari Resorts keeps an online home of its own at www.kalahariresorts.com.
