Balance As a Multi-Talent: Revelations From Officially GP
We may be focused entirely on one thing while being utterly unaware of anything else. We may have so many ideas or skills that we are unsure where to begin. Balance is a framework in which we need to make decisions as a multi-talent. Officially Gp, as he is commonly known, a rapper, actor, model and ambitious, and achieving entrepreneur, has a unique sense of balance and has a couple of pointers for all your multi-talents.
There Is Nothing Wrong With You
First, recognize that you are exceptional. There is nothing wrong with you. You are one of the few people who have the potential to do various things, so you need to be able to invest in improving yourself to ensure you are at least decent at those things and constantly work towards being better at it. Just another reminder, you are unique.
Create And Expand
You may be wondering which among your many talents you should recognize with being that you have a number, or rather how you can package them all together. Well, don’t beat yourself too much. Take the instance of Rihanna, who is also a multi-talented character. She first built her music career, and the world recognized and knew her as a musician, and she later joined the acting scene. Seeing that we had already experienced her prowess in music and trusted her with it, the crown was more than happy to receive her as an actor and trusted her with it as well, as they did when she started her brand ‘Fenty.’ Officially GP pretty much had a similar journey. In a few words, pick one of your talents that you have mastered and develop to maturity, then expand to that point.
Find The Connection
Find the connection between your talents, that is why you have them because they connect to something epic; one leads to the other; your passion for gardens will lead you to garden parties, just like Chis Brown’s talent to draw, dance, act and sing brands him as an entertainer. Look into your capabilities and find a link between one and the other. You will also find that you can create a company of one of your talents and have a community with similar interests run it as you stay partially involved- putting more of your focus on another.
Don’t pressure yourself with the need to monetize all your talents; it doesn’t have to be like that. Find your middle point and remind yourself of your reasons for being. You can do all that you were made for. A jack of all trades is a master of none but often better than a master of one.
