0Lou Taylor Pucci & Tanner Beard On “The Legend Of Hell’s Gate” Coming To VOD & Future Projects
Strike Back Studios — a new joint venture between Realization Films, Public House Films and Hideout Pictures — recently announced a wide digital release of classic western The Legend Of Hell’s Gate. Now available on Amazon Prime, Vudu, Tubi, iTunes, Fandango Now, Google Play and YouTube, the film can be rented and/or purchased just about anywhere you look for your top-notch films.
The Legend of Hell’s Gate is an epic western starring Eric Balfour (Six Feet Under, 24), Lou Taylor Pucci (Evil Dead, American Horror Story), Henry Thomas (E.T. The Extra Terrestrial, Legends of the Fall), Jenna Dewan (Step Up), Jamie Thomas King (Mad Men), Glenn Morshower (The Resident) and Kevin Alejandro (Netflix’s Lucifer). Chronicling how “Hell’s Gate” at Possum Kingdom Lake, Texas came to have its name, actor, writer and director Tanner Beard — also the founder of the Mammoth Film Festival in Mammoth Lakes, California — has honored the beloved spaghetti western genre. The Legend of Hell’s Gate features music by acclaimed composer Ennio Morricone (6 Bullets To Hell) and (tastefully) undeniably brings the true grit of the west to audiences with its star-studded cast and crew.
On April 2, 2021, I had the pleasure of speaking with the aforementioned Lou Taylor Pucci and Tanner Beard via Zoom, as embedded below. More on this digital release can be found online via www.strikebackstudios.com, while Pucci can be visited at www.loutaylorpucci.com and Beard — a Holey Moley champion, as discussed during the interview — can be followed on Twitter.
