K. Michelle, Silk, Michel’le, Kut Klose & Changing Faces Take Over Live & Love R&B Fest

This past weekend, K. Michelle, Kut Klose, Michel’le, Changing Faces, and Silk took over Miramar, FL with the 2021 Live & Love R&B Fest presented by Ponomo Entertainment.

As this is one of the first live concerts taking place in South Florida since the world has reopened due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Ponomo Entertainment made sure to take extra safety precautions to ensure that concert goers could have a safe, but memorable experience.

As guests arrived they were greeted by Hot 105’s on-air radio personalities and show hosts Shelby Rushin and Big Lip Bandit. They also enjoyed sounds by DJ Sco, DJ Kaidot, and DJ Bamma, three of South Florida’s hottest , most sought-after DJs and indulged on tasty bites from Florida’s most talked about restaurants.

“The purpose behind this event is to bring together great music and great artists,” says Tony Benjamin, Jr of Ponomo Entertainment. “Any event that we host will always be full of nothing but love and excitement. With everything going on with COVID-19, I feel like this is something that the south definitely needed. We wanted to create this event to bring the community together, something that we haven’t seen in the last year. We are bringing not only great entertainment, but great food and an even greater energy. As the world is slowly opening back up, we wanted to create a safe space where people can come, be free, and experience an all around good time.”

What makes this concert stand out even more is that proceeds from this event, and all Ponomo Entertainment events, go towards helping HBCU students who are in the process of opening their own businesses. From funding to mentorship, Ponomo Entertainment provides a much needed platform that help young adults establish their businesses in the South Florida community.

Ponomo Entertainment is a South Florida based, black owned entertainment group ran by husband and wife duo, Tony Benjamin & Khalilah Sullivan that specializes in live music events and concert.
