Andaz Hollywood Reveals “SHE’d” Art Exhibit Curated by Band of Vices Founder Terrell Tilford

West Hollywood’s Andaz Hotel recently hosted the SHE’d art exhibit reception on September 30th to unveil a new mezzanine installation featuring three diverse female artists from the United States, South Africa and Poland. Curated by Band of Vices owner and founder, Terrell Tilford, the exhibition highlights the defiant and thought-provoking work of Sharon Louise Barnes, Leila Rose Fanner and Edyta Pachowicz. The event welcomed tastemakers, artists and professionals for a selection of beer, wine and hors d’oeuvres while they mingled and viewed the artwork, which is available for purchase now through December 31, 2021.

Band of Vices serves as a platform for emerging, mid-career & established contemporary artists that matter. Their discipline includes painting, drawing, mixed media, photography & sculpture and their approach is fearless, thought-provoking & unapologetic. With two exhibition spaces, Band of Vices is one of the leading contemporary art spaces in the burgeoning West Adams Arts District of Los Angeles, founded in 2015 by veteran actor & art curator Terrell Tilford. His first gallery, Tilford Art Group (1999-2010) was launched in New York City, then relocated to Mid-City, Los Angeles. Tilford rebranded the gallery as Band of Vices, and along with partners Darryl E. Wash, Melva Benoit & Melvin A. Marshall, opened their flagship location.

Andaz West Hollywood is Los Angeles’ iconic rock ‘n’ roll hotel located on the famous Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, California, where musical history, celebrity, and style come together. Formerly known as the Riot House, the property – then called Continental Hyatt House and later the Hyatt on Sunset – served as the home of some of rock ‘n’ roll’s most memorable tales by being the choice hotel for rock legends including Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Duran Duran, The Doors, and more. Rebranded as an Andaz – Hyatt’s lifestyle collection – in 2009, the stylish hotel is more alluring and artful as ever, featuring 240 guest rooms, including 21 suites, and spectacular views of the Hollywood Hills on one side and the Sunset Strip and Downtown Los Angeles on the other. Andaz West Hollywood also offers professional party, meeting and event planning, weekly rooftop music and entertainment. Inspired event venues – including the highest rooftop pool in Los Angeles – acclaimed Riot House restaurant, and glamorous cocktail parties known as salon events further make this chic West Hollywood hotel a must-visit destination.
