If You’re Into Whiskey There’s a New Option Glyph by Endless West and No Need to Wait for National Whiskey Day, it’s Available Now

Ever heard of a whiskey made up of molecules pulled from fruits, veggies, and other natural sources? You have now! Ahead of National Whiskey Day (March 27) let me introduce you to Glyph by Endless West– a first-of-its-kind molecular spirit company (think the Impossible Foods of the alcohol industry). It’s definitely a unique, and beautiful, whiskey to enjoy on National Whiskey Day.

Endless West is the first company to study the molecular composition of wines and spirits, identifying key flavor and aroma molecules (or notes), and extracting them for use from more efficient sources in nature — including plants, fruits, and yeasts, to develop its own line of spirits brands. As a result, Endless West creates award-winning and environmentally-friendly alcoholic beverages with greater efficiency and speed compared to traditional production methods, such as Glyph.

Glyph is available in retail stores now so no need to wait for National Whiskey Day find it in a store near you here.

Once you’ve found it, below are a couple of recipes to try out…love to know what you think!

Hedy Lamarr

  • 2 oz Glyph
  • 2 oz Dolin Rouge Vermouth
  • 1.5 oz Campari

Combine all ingredients into a cocktail mixing glass with ice. Stir to chill and dilute. Strain into a Nick n’ Nora glass neat, or an Old Fashioned glass with one large ice cube. Garnish with orange peel (twist peel over drink to expel oil first).

Marie Curie

  • 2 Dashes bitters
  • 2-3 Drops saline solution

Combine all ingredients into an Old Fashioned glass. Add 1 large ice cube and stir to dilute/ chill. Garnish with orange peel (twist peel over the drink to expel oil first).
