S-X On His New Single With Trippie Redd, Juggling Artist & Producer Careers, Future Goals & More

Earlier this year, GRAMMY-nominated singer, songwriter and producer S-X released a new single with Trippie Redd called “All Night.” That track will be part of S-X’s debut album, which is set for a Spring 2022 release. That release follows S-X’s a critically-acclaimed mixtape, which Complex praised for its “unique melodies and vocals that haven’t been heard in the pop-R&B sphere before him.”

Dubbed “the Wolverhampton wonderkid” by The Guardian, S-X spent years making a name for himself as a producer, working with the likes of Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Childish Gambino, Chance The Rapper and J. Cole. This led to multiple GRAMMY nominations, gold-selling records and international tours. But S-X’s debut album marks a new chapter for the multi-talented performer, who continues to push his art into new dimensions and that proves he is an unstoppable artist in his own right. It is a step that S-X has been preparing for since childhood, as he explained in his words: “I’ve signed a new record deal and am making my best music. The time is really now for me to prove to the world what I can do.”

On February 16, 2022, I had the pleasure of speaking with S-X via Zoom, as embedded below. Beyond his forthcoming album, we spoke about his creative process, musical influences, future plans, mental health, and why he prefers shorts to pants. More on S-X can be found by clicking here, here and here.
