Meet Malik Oliver With His New Single “I Need You”

Growing up in Russellville, AR, as the youngest child of two children, Malik Oliver was born on May 14, 1996. He lived in a house where God and church were number one in their life and being actively involved was next. Malik heard everything from gospel legends, James Moore, Kirk Franklin, Yolanda Adams, The Clark Sisters, to RnB legends Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, and so many more. Those different bodies of music, as well as the strong presence of God and church, helped shaped Malik’s life as a singer as well as a person. Malik has a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management and a Master’s in Higher Education. He is now pursuing a Doctorate in Education at The Grambling State University. Malik and his family of 3 (Wife: Brittany Sears-Oliver and Son: O’Mari Oliver) currently reside in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Malik has been singing since the age of 3 and was very active in the Music Leadership at his home church as well as other churches. Malik is releasing his first single “I Need You,” produced by Marcus Singleton on February 25th, 2022. Malik has been blessed to sing background for Joshua Rogers, Alexis Spight, Kierra Sheard, Jerard & Jovaun Woods, Zebrina Anderson from God’s Chosen, as well as a local artist.
