Chuck Dalaklis On The Discovery+ Series “Inventions That Changed History,” Future Projects & More

The new Discovery+ series Inventions That Changed History reveals the wild and often unbelievable stories behind many of pop culture’s most impactful inventions. Within the limited series, historians, scientists, pop culture experts and Hollywood celebrities take us on this wild ride full of information and incredible tales. That list of celebrities offering insights into inventions that molded their youth and stayed with them into adulthood includes Richard Kind (Curb Your Enthusiasm), Lance Reddick (The Wire), Nicole Sullivan (MADtv, King Of Queens), Haskiri Velazquez (Saved By The Bell), Amanda Seales (Insecure), Flula Borg (Suicide Squad), Yeardley Smith (The Simpsons) and Harvey Guillen (What We Do In The Shadows).

Inventions That Changed History Executive Producer Chuck Dalaklis has been crafting must-see television for decades. This includes In Their Own Words, Behind The Music, Inside Edition, Stranded With Cash Peters All Access, Jeremy Piven’s Journey Of A Lifetime, The Dana Carvey Show and Soapography. I had the pleasure of speaking with Dalaklis on April 15, 2022 via Zoom, as embedded below. Beyond Inventions That Changed History, we talked about his history as a television producer, music and upcoming projects for him.
