Gospel Rap is Back: Meet Rapper 1K Pson

Hip-Hop Gospel Artist 1K Pson is the voice of the new generation. The Atlanta-born rapper has gained major recognition and it’s only the beginning. He has been one of the most talented artists in recent years and has not shown any signs of slowing down. He has accumulated nearly 13k followers on Instagram, 30k monthly listeners on Spotify, and millions of streams as an independent artist. He has worked endlessly in his career and in 2021 he was named to the Rapzilla Freshman List which is the XXL equivalent for Christian Hip-Hop. He is much more than a rapper however, he is also a great Father, Husband, and Business Owner.

1K Pson released his debut album “A Different World” in 2020 and to say it was amazing would be an understatement. The album did 1 Million streams in under a year and had massive hits such as, “Heartbreak Hotel”, “No Cap Shawty”, “Kawasaki”, and “Bandemic” with Mykko Montana. This album had a little bit of everything for everyone. Hard Trap Records like “Kawasaki” and “Bandemic”, Melodic vibes like, “Soul Cry” and “Heartbreak Hotel”, and then some R&B like, “Thankful” and “Beautiful Skin”. This album showed that 1K Pson cannot be boxed in and refuses to minimize his creativity.

1K Pson has proven himself time and time again and has won the hearts of the people. He told us that he is getting ready to roll out new music at a very consistent rate. He pays homage to Atlanta greats like Young Thug, Gunna, and Lil Baby and wishes to collaborate with one of them in due time. 1K Pson has truly embodied hard work, dedication, and faith.
