Mpackt On His Latest Singing “Stay Dangerous,” Touring With NoCap, Las Vegas & More

At 19 years of age, hip-hop artist Mpackt is off and running with his career. Now on the road with NoCap as part of the Mr. Crawford Tour, the Las Vegas native is a self-taught musician who began playing instruments at the age of 7. He began performing on-stage and touring with his professional musician father even prior to that. In his early teens, Mpackt began to focus his attention on hip-hop and audio production. Yet with his father’s rock and metal influence, Mpackt has developed a unique sound that crosses many musical genres; he has worked with Run-DMC and Static-X’s Wayne Static.

Commented Mpackt about his background: “I have a very wide range of musical influences that are very diverse from different genres of music — including old school ‘west and east coast’ rap/hip-hop, multiple genres of rock and metal, R&B, and classical music. As of right now we are working on putting together my debut album to bring to the masses. We will announce a release date soon through Uproar Entertainment Group.” His music often reflects upon life’s hardships, having been raised by a single father, yet his main goal is “to take over the world and bring my music to the masses.”

On April 25, 2022, I had the pleasure of speaking with Mpackt via Zoom following his first date on the Mr. Crawford Tour, as embedded below. More on Mpackt can be found by clicking here and here.
