0P1Harmony On Their New Release “Harmony: Zero In,” Touring The U.S. More, Pink Sweat$ & More
Last month, K-pop’s latest sensation P1Harmony — written in Korean as 피원하모니 — released a new six-track mini-album, Harmony: Zero In. The release of the mini-album was accompanied by a brand new music video, as filmed in Los Angeles, for the new single “Doom Du Doom.” All of this follows the band’s comedic entry into late-night television on The Daily Show, a recent music drop with R&B sweetheart Pink Sweat$, accolades from major publications (e.g. Billboard, NME, New York Times, Refinery29) and a successful U.S. headline tour which reportedly sold out in less than 30 minutes.
Harmony: Zero In incorporates the six-member group’s signature harmonizing and captivating raps while playing with a fresh sound. Opening track “Black Hole” captures an edgier vibe while “Different Song For Me” showcases a more raw and emotional side of p1Harmony. The act, which co-write its lyrics and is renowned for its choreography, absolutely shows confidence on “Yes Man” and the track aptly named “Swagger.” In spite of all of this productivity and international success, P1Harmony’s members — Keeho, Theo, Jiung, Soul, Intak and Jongseob — are all between the ages of 16 and 20.
On July 30, 2022, I had the pleasure of speaking with all 6 members of P1Harmony via Zoom. The audio of that is embedded below, while more on P1Harmony can be found here, here and here.
