Whitney Nicole Shocks the Airwaves With New EP, “A Fine Line”

Whitney Nicole is a pop songstress who has quickly climbed the ladder within the independent music scene with her dynamic sounds and consistent work ethic. She recalls her first performance at the early age of 5, “I had a solo in my 5th grade music class and we performed it in our elementary school concert. I remember stepping forward and being super nervous, extremely timid and not projecting at all (I didn’t even really know how at that age). When I perform, it’s like I go into an alternate universe or something. I zone out a bit and don’t come back to consciousness until it’s all over.” This iconic memory was just the beginning of a long and prosperous music journey for the young pop star.

As her talent and network have grown tremendously, Whitney strategized about her EP, “A Fine Line” with her team of music gurus standing behind her in support! After hard work, talent, and creativity, the project is finally here! The 5 track album is jam-packed with phenomenal music created with a purpose to move listeners and impact them in a positive way and produced by Joshua Chan.

The introductory song titled, “Tell Me You Won’t Go” is a perfect way to lure in her listeners; soft tones and the smooth sound of a guitar. The hook is catchy and allows the listener to sing along soon after hearing it, “The words are all escaping from me. My body’s pouring out this poetry. The love we keep ain’t nothing I can leave.” This is a feel good, sensual song and Whitney Nicole executes it perfectly!

The emotion pours through the speakers into the heart of the listener with the next song titled, “Stay”. This track will certainly have Whitney’s audience thinking about memories of love, loss, and the in-between moments within their relationships. “Toxic”, gives reggae/pop vibes from the beginning of the song which will surely lure in a variety of demographics and the hook can be envisioned being played in the car or in the club. The words display the back and forth reality of unstable intimate relationships.“There’s a fine line and tonight I’ve had enough but tomorrow we’re probably back in love.” Moving to the beat while enjoying this song is a guarantee.

“Black Lilac” immediately displays deep emotion; anger, resentment, and heartache. “Who knew you’d be my enemy? This revenge feels so sweet. What goes around comes back around. If you’re the king then where’s your crown?” When dealing with a bad breakup and betrayal, there are pieces of us that want the other party to feel the pain we have endured.
