Air Supply (Lost in Love Experience) Review

In 1977, Air Supply received its big break after opening up for Rod Stewart in Australia. The invite from Mr. Stewart would be extended to tour North America. Nearly 5100 shows later, both Russell Hitchcock and Graham Russell will still be going strong some forty-five years later.

The Lost in Love Experience tour came to Mystic Lake Casino on Friday evening and was as extraordinary as it was when I saw the dynamic duo twenty-two years ago. A night that brought many cheers, laughs, and tears.

Performing all of their lovable and easy-to-sing-along hits. Opening up with “Sweet Dreams” and ending with the cover of Badfinger’s “Without You” and the tearjerker “All Out of Love” capped off an amazing evening.

It was the first concert that I have been to where most of the sold-out crowd sang in unison to every song. Two women a few rows in front of me almost appeared to be auditioning to become the next Air Supply.

The Australian native Russell and British Graham will always have a place in my heart.
