A Conversation with Luana Fernandez: Music, Influencing, and Pursuing Dreams
Meet Luana Ayelen Fernandez, popularly known as Luana Fernandez, a rising star in the music industry, a successful model, and a content creator on social media. In this Q&A, she shares her inspiring journey as a musician and influencer and how she balances both careers.
What sparked your interest in music?
My love for music started when I was a little girl. I would sing and dance around the house, and my family always encouraged me to pursue my passion. When I was five years old, I participated in a television program in Argentina called CANTANIÑOS, which solidified my desire to pursue a career in music.
Can you tell us about your experience on the television program CANTANIÑOS?
It was an incredible experience for me. It was my first time performing in front of a large audience, and it helped me gain confidence in my abilities as a singer. It also helped me develop my stage presence and showmanship.
How did you transition from television to social media and music?
After CANTANIÑOS, I continued to study singing and hone my skills. When social media started becoming popular, I saw it as an opportunity to showcase my talent and connect with people all over the world. I started posting videos of myself singing on platforms like YouTube and Instagram and gradually built up a following.
What are your musical genres?
I draw inspiration from a range of genres, including pop, electronic, Latin pop, and rock.
How would you describe your style of music?
My music is a fusion of electronic and Latin pop. I create high-energy, danceable tracks that people can connect with and enjoy.
How do you balance being an influencer and a musician?
It can be challenging, but I prioritize my music career and make sure it always comes first. At the same time, I love creating content and connecting with my followers, so I make time for both.
What have been some of the biggest obstacles you’ve had to overcome in your career, and how did you push past them?
Breaking into the music industry as an independent artist has been a significant challenge for me. Getting my music out there and noticed has been difficult. However, I’ve managed to overcome these obstacles by being persistent and never giving up on my dreams. Additionally, I have surrounded myself with a supportive team of individuals who believe in me and my talent.
What would you say has been your most significant success to date?
My most significant accomplishments to date are releasing my debut album, FLY, and amassing a substantial following on social media. It’s an incredibly rewarding feeling knowing that people connect with my music and content and that I’m making a positive impact on their lives.
What advice would you offer to those just beginning their music or content creation journey?
My advice would be to remain authentic and committed to your passion. While it can be a tough industry, never give up on your dreams, and have faith in your talent.
